What is Tarot — and can it really guide your life?

Tarot is a deck of 78 cards, each carrying its own imagery and symbolism, used as a tool for reflection and guidance rather than fortune-telling in the way pop culture often portrays it. Every card acts like a prompt — a way of naming feelings, patterns, or crossroads that are often easier to see from the outside than from within your own situation.
A typical reading isn't about predicting a fixed future. Your choices still shape what happens next. What a reading offers instead is clarity on where you stand right now — the emotional undercurrents, the blind spots, the options you may not have fully considered — so that whatever you decide next, you're deciding with your eyes open.
People usually come to me at genuine crossroads: a relationship they can't read clearly, a career decision they keep circling, a loss they haven't fully processed. The cards don't hand over an answer. They organize the question — often the first time someone has actually sat with it directly instead of turning it over anxiously in the back of their mind.
Can Tarot really guide your life? I'd put it this way: it can help you guide yourself. The insight comes from the conversation between the cards and your own honesty in the room. That's why the same spread can mean very different things to two different people — the cards reflect what's already present in you, sharpened into something you can finally act on.
